As you are exploring the call of God in your life, you will likely encounter some common misconceptions about the ways by which God calls people to ministry.

Here are four misconceptions about the call:

1. God always calls people in dramatic ways.
2. God is calling everyone to full-time ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12).
3. God only calls certain types of people.
4. God calls everyone yet He calls people in different ways and different circumstances.

All people are different so God’s call will be different for each person. Resist the temptation of comparing your call with those God has already called. Remember, keep the faith and continue to Explore the Call.
